Children of Apollo

More PJO re-designs, thought I’d do them in alphabetic order again so here’s my new children of Apollo (all in one place this time) including Octavian (a legacy of Apollo) and Rachel (the oracle of Delphi).

Lee: Definitely always head-canoned him as being VERY musically inclined, so I went with a cool two-toned hair and double denim with nice sneakers. With his hair up now, I can show off his earrings Also kept his jacket/hoodie combo

Michael: I went in a WAAAAY different direction with Michael. Gave him darker hair and eyes. Still has a layered shirt, but went with black and white sleeves, rolled up jeans instead of shorts, and combat boots. He just ended up way “edgier” and serious.

Octavian: Gave him a more trouble-making look with slicked back hair and a scrawnier build (always pictures him as a SUPER skinny white boy lol) Other than that his design didn’t really change all that much… though I did forget his tattoo. Oops.

Rachel: Based her off of one of my newer designs, that I liked Her hair turned out a lil redder and shorter, with a proper CHB sweater and some funky shorts to match Didn’t give her hair brush in this one like I did the previous one :/

Will: Made him to be this awkwardly tall dude, with a baggy oversized sweater, shorter and messier curls. Also replaced his bow in the previous version with a med kit

Austin: I gave him a more casual look compared to his last look, with a short sleeve printed shirt and some cool sneakers instead of boots. His hair basically stayed similar, just made the unbraided section curly instead of straight. Also changed his eye color to brown, honestly it just looked better lol

Kayla: She changed quite a bit. I gave her an oversized dress shirt with a camo over-shirt and bulky combat boots. It’s similar to the second version of her after her appearance in ToA, but still quite a bit different. I removed her khaki shorts and high socks.

Laurel: Cut her hair and gave her more of a strawberry blonde hair color. Also went for a more athletic look for her (Honestly, I’m not even sure if she’s a real character. She had one mention and no parents mentioned… so I assumed since laurels are a symbol of Apollo. If she doesn’t… oops)

Gracie: A new character from the ToA series, that I never got to designing. Honestly, I still need to finish that series lol but here she is. I don’t draw enough younger characters, so I thought I’d make her a lot younger than the others, not really sure HOW old but yeah lol

Yan: Another new character from ToA. From what I’ve read they’re very gender neutral and were raised in Hong Kong, so I took that and leaned into. They have a very simple outfit, and honestly they ended up looking a lot like Marcy Wu from Amphibia lol

Either way, I hope you guys like the designs both new and old I’ll have more of Apollo’s kids up soon
